Malta is a fantastic island at the south of Italy and north of Tunisia, with a rich cultural history. Its capital is Valletta and it is one of the favourites for Europeans: to study, work and of course as a holiday destination.

Thousands of students and tourists choose it every year for its amazing waters and beaches, fascinating historic mix of cultures and customs and its incredible tourist destinations such as the Megalithic Temples, underground temple Hypogeum of Hal Saflieni or its ancient capital Valletta.

It is one of the cheapest cities to live within the European Union, and if you like clubbing, Malta is well known for having tons to offer.

If you want to work in Malta, you will simply need a medium to high level of English, and once there you can learn English in one of the many language schools.

The areas of Sliema, St. Julians, Gzira, Msida or Swieqi are the best to live in, whether you're a student or you are looking for a job.

It has great public transport; to get around Valletta it is best by motorcycle or by bus.

If you want to enjoy warm weather almost all year round and rich Mediterranean cuisine, this is your destination to study or work.

Great place to live or study english

I have been living allmy life in malta , i think is an amazing place to live.I can see many people come here to study english and the reasons are obvious:Malta was a British colony for over 160 years, This historical legacy explains why English is one of the two official languages spoken in Malta. This, together with an excellent climate and the option to turn learning into a holiday, make Malta an ideal place for studying English. o
